Henry C Shows

Henry Claiborne "Hank" Shows, Jr., 81, passed away September 19, 2013 at his home in Monroe, Utah. He was born November 14, 1931 in Magee, Mississippi to Henry Claiborne and Elizabeth Myrtle Jones Shows.
Hank grew up in Mississippi and joined the Navy where he was a meteorologist at the North Pole in the 50's and early 60's. He was a barber in northern California until retirement, then moved to Monroe where he owned and operated HGS Gun Shop. He enjoyed the many shooting competitions he attended all over U.S.; hunting and being in the outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Russell F. (Judy) Shows of Marvel, Colorado and sister, Geraldine Stubbs of Jackson, MS.
At his request, cremation services have taken place. Memorial services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 2nd Ward Chapel, 140 South Main. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi at a later date.
