Helen Edwards Lee, 85, passed away on February 1, 2013 in Canoga Park, CA, with her family by her side. She was born on August 22, 1927 in Salina, to Solon and Amy Cox Edwards.
Helen grew up in Sterling and attended both Polytechnic High School in Riverside and then San Bernardino High School.
Helen married John J. Lee Jr. on Easter Sunday 1950 in Colton, CA . They were married for 63 years.
Helen was known for her infectious laughter and for her devotion to her family.
She is survived by her husband; children: John James Lee III, Amy Windle and Dawn Krall; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Leda Frame.
Private family funeral services will be held on Saturday February 9, 2013. Burial will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sterling Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
