Helen Janes Burns, 96, of Monroe passed away January 6, 2013 in Richfield. She was born March 5, 1916 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Helen worked in aircraft as "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. She was a housekeeper for many years and in a convalesce center as an aid.

She is survived by children: Richard Johnson, Florida; Carol Reynolds, Massachusetts; Sheila Johnson, and Marjorie Cole, Monroe; many grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents and all siblings.

Cremation services will be held and memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
