Our beloved Hattie LaPearl, 83, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George with her loving husband at her side, holding her hand.

Born August 26, 1934 to Laurence Thorvald and Hattie Cleo Peterson in Loa, Utah. They moved to Mayfield when LaPearl was 3 years old. She loved growing up there with her very special family and friends, and her horse, Pat. Married Arden Stevens, November 21, 1949, later divorced. Married Roger L. Allred, April 28, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah; solemnized in the Manti, Utah Temple August 26, 1986.

Survived by husband of 57 years, Roger, 2 children, Danny (MaryAnn) Stevens, and Tami (Frank) Hanson. Also survived by sister, Shyrleen, brother, Evan; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Gary (Sandy) Stevens, granddaughter, Krystal Stevens Randolph; brothers, Van, Orland, and Clayton, and sister, Jeneal.

LaPearl had a magnificent sense of humor and many fun memories of her will be cherished. She adored her children and grandchildren, and they adored her.
