On August 14, 2015 Grace Nielson Tuft began her next journey at her home in West Valley City with her loving family around her. Grace was born at home in Manti, Utah on August 8, 1932 to Ebbe and Evangeline Memmott Nielson, she was the third youngest of nine children. In 1950 she married Morris B. Tuft in Nephi, Utah. They later moved to the Salt Lake area where they raised five children. Grace had a fun and adventurous spirit and loved her family.
She is survived by her children: Tom (Michele) Tuft, Dal (Sandy) Tuft, Craig (Kaylene) Tuft, Tammy (Paul) Bingham, and Tracey Hutchings; 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren; her brother, Clyde (Geri) Nielson; her faithful companions: Gobbie and Skittles; and many loving extended family members.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings: Lillian, James, Lucille, Calvin, Florence, and Timothy; and one grandson, Jacob.
She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Manti City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, 195 West 100 North in Manti, Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
