Gordon Kay Patterson, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Richfield on December 26, 2016. He was born June 23, 1942 in Beaver to Aubra Clark and Veone Christensen Patterson. He married Barbara Virginia Doty, July 26, 1963 in Tacoma,Washington, she preceded him in death March 22, 2013.
Gordon was an avid hunter and ATV enthusiast. He spent many years at Boeing and Barney Trucking. He loved his family and dearly missed his beloved Barbara.
He is survived by children: Therese Hammill, Tacoma, WA; Gordy Patterson and Roxanne (Juan) Pabon, both of Richfield; Shawn (Tawnya) Patterson, Yelm, WA; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Darlene Peterson, Richfield; Shirley (Stu) Studebaker, Las Vegas; Julia (Norman) Mayhew, Ogden; Lea (Randy) Peterson, Murray.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Trina Lynn Patterson; parents; brother, Edwin "Sonny"(Carolyn) Patterson; brother-in-law, Dick Peterson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 11th LDS Ward Chapel, 985 South 400 West. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or at the ward chapel on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
