Glenna Pollock

August 22, 1940 — July 10, 2011

Glenna LeFevre Pollock, 88, passed away July 10, 2011 in Tropic. She was born August 22, 1922 in Holden, Utah to Eli and Amplus D. Littlefield Lefevre. She married Adrian Willis Pollock, September 22, 1940 in the St. George Temple. He preceded her in death February 26, 2004.

Glenna was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served diligently as a visiting teacher her entire life. She also worked in the Mutual organization, Relief Society, and her favorite position was serving in the stake and ward compassionate service callings. Glenna worked as a waitress for most of her life and loved meeting with and talking to people. Many people have expressed their love for her and her willingness to share what little bit she had. Glenna worked tirelessly in the AA and Ala-Non program for years serving people with food, love, and a caring heart. Glenna loved the outdoors and being with her family.

Glenna is survived by daughters: Jolene Jensen, Darlene (Grant) LeFevre, Hazel (Marvin) Hatch, daughter-in-law Peggy Pollock; sons: Vee (Gwen) Pollock, Dee (Janie) Pollock, Royce (Debbie) Pollock, Dale (Janece) Pollock; sister Gaia Greenhalgh; 24 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, husband, Adrian; sons Lynn and Garn L. Pollock; sons-in-law, June H. Sanders, Holger Jensen; grandchildren Jody Lynn Little, and great-grandson, Braedon Braff; sister: Ora Brinkerhoff, and brothers: Ken, Weldon, and Garth LeFevre.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 15, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the Tropic LDS Chapel, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Tropic Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
