Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Glen Belisle Warner, 70, returned home to his Heavenly Father on July 9, 2020 in Salt Lake City, UT with his beloved eternal companion at his side. He was born on September 11, 1949 in Richfield, UT to Glen Theurer and Mildred Elizabeth Belisle Warner.
Glen grew up in Phoenix, AZ and enjoyed carefree summers with friends and family in Glenwood, Utah. He married his high school sweetheart Pat Dibble on June 18, 1971 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Glen was a devoted father and husband who gave his best energy and talents to making sure his family had every opportunity to succeed. He was a self-employed businessman throughout his working life. He served in many capacities in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; his service and love benefitted countless youth and families. He was always quick with a compliment and to serve others. Glen enjoyed working in his yard, driving his old tractor (with or without grandkids), as well as studying and writing extensive notes in his scriptures.
Glen is survived by his loving wife, Pat; and their children: Kevin (Heather) Warner, Kristel Warner, Jeff (Heather) Warner, Tyler (Bethany) Warner, Travis (Coral) Warner, and Carrie (Duke) Dance; he leaves behind 15 grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters: Elizabeth (John) Balle, Gayle (John) Foster; and brother, Philip ‘Bo’ (Joanne) Warner; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents and his mother and father-in-law.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel in Richfield. The gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Glen’s man cave, 87 East 200 North, Glenwood. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
