Gerald Lloyde "Jerry" Madsen, 79, passed away at his home in Centerfield with his loving family surrounding him on May 7, 2016. He was born October 16, 1936 in Manti, Utah to Clay Lloyde and Alta Olsen Madsen. He married Vonda Rae Hatch, March 10, 1976 in Reno, NV. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple in 2000. Jerry and Vonda just celebrated their 40 th Anniversary.
He served his country in the US Navy. He owned and operated his own construction company. He loved animals, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He taught his kids how to work and play.
He is survived by his wife and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elgin Cemetery in Green River, Utah, with military rites.
