George Wallace Roberts

George Wallace Roberts, 78 of Circleville passed away October 16, 2013 in Richfield, Utah. He was born February 22, 1935 in Beaver Utah to Ray and Alba Lee Roberts. He married Janet Dalton, August 14, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He served in the Marine Corps. He was a regional director for Food and Nutrition Services with the Department of Agriculture. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.
He was an active member of the LDS Church. Serving as a scout master, membership clerk, High Priest Group Leader. He and Janet were ordinance workers in the St. George Temple for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Janet of Circleville; children, Brett Dalton Roberts and Joyce (Randy) Olds both of Aurora, CO, Stephanie Woodall of Orem; son-in-law, Todd Jones of Cameron Park, CA; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister-in-law, Jean Roberts of Boise, ID
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Connie Lee Jones; grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Kylee Jones; great-granddaughter, Amelia Lee Jones; siblings, Dorothy Norton, Douglas Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, Lucille Kelbch, Keith Roberts.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Circleville 2 nd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery with military rites by the V.F.W Piute Post # 7561 and the Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
