George Arvel King, passed away March 21, 2019 at his home in Aurora. He was born October 3, 1936 in Provo, Utah to Arvel Marinus and Clara Kirkman King. He married Tommily Henderson September 14, 1973 in Evanston, Wyoming.

George was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife Tommily; sons: Steve (Debbie) Batty, Michael (Tracy) Peterson, Jeremy Peterson, Matthew (Lisa) King, Ronald King, David (Heidi) King, Gary (Colleen) King; daughters: Anne Batty, Ellen Baxter, Cheryl (Larry) Carling; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, with one coming in September; 1 great-great-grandson with one coming in May.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Blake H Batty; granddaughters, Stephanie Anne Batty and Taylor King; sister, Colleen (Gene) Shoemaker.

A celebration of George’s life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Sevier Church, 130 North Main in Richfield. Cremation services will be held after. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
