Georganne “Ginger” Elaine Winner was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She peacefully passed Sunday morning, March 6, 2022 in Monroe. She was born March 14, 1943 to William and Esther Brown in Glens Falls, New York and later moved to South Gate, California where she met her future husband, David Winner.
David and Ginger were married for 60 years and had 6 children, 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. They loved to travel and have lived in many places. They also served a senior mission in Bentonville, Arkansas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ginger was passionate about life, especially gardening, baking, and reading. Ginger was proud of her heritage – she was a daughter of the American Revolution and a daughter of Utah Pioneers. She was a faithful member of her church and served and loved the Lord dearly.
Ginger is survived by her loving husband David; children: April Winner, Sherry Stalham, Carol Davidson, Judy Weeks, David Winner Jr., Janet Winner; sisters, Gloria Holmes and Gail New; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 2nd Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
