    Gary Ronald James was born in Richfield, Utah, on December 19, 1956. He passed away due to health complications on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in the St George Regional Hospital at the age of 67. 
    Gary was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Greg (Prime) James; his sister, Ronee (Dennis) Davis;  and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, and they love him. 
    He is preceded in death by his dad, Ronald James; mom, Georgia James; and sister, Stephanie James. 
    Gary was such a fun-loving, happy guy. He made everyone around him feel like family. He was known as Uncle Gar to so many. He had many best friends during his life and continued to have relationships with them throughout the years. Those friendships meant everything to Gary. 
    His favorite place in the world was his hometown, Marysvale. He loved his home, but most of all, he loved the Mountains of Marysvale, just like our dad did. He cherished every moment he could in those mountains at his camp in the summer and his long rides, taking many pictures of the beautiful scenery. Nothing like home sweet home for Gary and all of us who were fortunate enough to grow up in Marysvale. His spirit and love will forever be in Marysvale, and may he rest in peace. We all love you, Gary, and you will be truly missed.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 12:00 Noon in the Marysvale Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 10:00-11:30 a.m. for the viewing.
