Gaitha Miller Lyon, 88, and a beautiful daughter of God passed away April 18, 2019 in Cedar City. She was born October 5, 1930 in Panguitch to Allen Francis and Lena Norton Miller. She married Milo Elroy Lyon December 8, 1948 in the St. George Temple. He preceded her in death May 10, 2009.

Gaitha is survived by her children: Duane Miller (Caralee) Lyon, Cedar City; Kathleen Webb, Gunnison; Arthur Kay (Lori) Lyon, Huntington; Lynda Sue Lyon, Taylorsville; daughter-in-law Lecia Lyon, Cedar City; 22 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, and 2 great-great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; siblings: Marilyn Veater, Panguitch; Dwight (Ivone) Miller, St. George; Boyd L (Clare Marie) Miller, Monroe.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; sons: Robert Milo Lyon, Alan Ernal Lyon, Craig J. Lyon; brother, Kent N. Miler.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at 12 Noon in the Panguitch 3rd Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West, where friends may call from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch City Cemetery.
