Cleo Gail Stott, 84,of Richfield passed from this life to the next on March 4, 2013 in Monroe. He was born March 20, 1928 to James William and Della Alberta Cunningham Stott in Manti. He was the youngest of eight children spending the early years of his life on the family farm without electricity or running water.
He graduated from Manti High School, Snow College, and Brigham Young University. He married Maureen (Mickie) Smith, they were blessed with six children and later divorced. He married Beth Twitchell Coleman and inherited two of the finest step-sons a man could ask for. After she passed away he married Twilla Poulson and was gathered into her family with a warm embrace. They have been great companions, often seen about town on one of their drives, or at the Richfield Senior Center.

He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and camping. He loved the classic Western movies. He loved good music. He loved to tell stories and a good joke.

Gail was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel of Jesus Christ was the most important part of his life. He served a mission to the North Central States Mission and in many callings including branch president, member of the bishopric, and executive secretary. He served in the Army Reserve. He worked for Gulf Oil, the FBI, in real estate and as an insurance claims adjuster for G.A.B. He also owned his own business.

He is survived by his wife Twilla, his brother Don of Manti, 12 children, 43 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. His children include Dennis (Kathy) Salt Lake City; Evan (Deon), Heber City;Darrell (Katherine) Poleviyaoma, Elaine Stott (Dave Giddens), Arlington, Texas; D'Anne (Steve) Moon, Smithfield; Jan (Randy) Ferguson, Seattle, WA; Gary (Gena) Coleman, Richfield; Craig (Shelley) Coleman, Richfield.; Marlene James, Aurora; Margaret (Bill) Allred, Richfield; Rae Lynn (Tom) White, Richfield; Becky Wuthrich, Las Vegas; Laurie (Robert) Jenkins, Richfield.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield 3 rd LDS Ward Chapel, 985 S. 400 W. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Saturday from11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
