Frederick Michael Jensen, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in St. George. He was born March 16, 1944 in Richfield, Utah to Byron Jared and Bette Hawkins Jensen. He Married Nellie Fay Henningson, on January 26, 1963 in Manti, Utah. Nellie died on August 4, 1996. He later married Carol Hudson Wallin on February 27, 1999 in St. George, Utah. Michael grew up in Richfield and Ephraim Utah. He moved to Cache Valley in 1973, and raised his family there. He moved to St. George in 1987. He was an avid Remote Control Airplane builder and pilot. He was a member and past president of the Remote Possibilities Radio Control Club. He taught his grandsons to fly. He was a skilled wood worker.

He is survived by his wife Carol, St. George; daughters: Angela Jensen Woolsey, Las Vegas, NV; Monica Ann Porter, Logan, UT; Lynette (Shaun) Jensen, Salina, UT; son, Jeremy Michael Jensen, St. George, UT; mother, Bette Jensen, Ephraim, Utah; step-sons: Lance Robert (Katherine) Wallin, SLC, UT; and Arek Paul Wallin, St. George, UT; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Jerrelyn (Jerry) Blankenship, Cathy Fox and Rolayne (Lamar) Barton of Ephraim, UT.

He was preceded in death by wife Nellie, daughter Jeannette and father Jared.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, UT, where friends may call Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and also Monday one hour prior to services. On Tuesday, September 29, 2015 there will be a viewing held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Ephraim 1 st and 2 nd Ward Chapel, 450 N. 200 W., Ephraim, UT. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
