Fred George Kiesel Sr, 60, of Mayfield, UT, passed away on May 9, 2017 at his home. Fred was born on April 3, 1957 in Manti, UT to Alton Freddie and Nila Durfee Kiesel.
Fred graduated from Manti High School in 1975. He married the love of his life, Dixie Lee Clayton on July 23, 1976 in Ely, NV. Fred was a professional truck driver by trade but also loved working on automobiles, camping, gathering firewood and relaxing in the mountains. He enjoyed counting rings on trees, gathering fossils and riding all over the mountains on his razor atv.
Fred is survived by his wife, Dixie, of Mayfield; children: Fred Kiesel Jr., Mayfield; Glen Albert (Bridget) Kiesel, Gunnison; MindyAnn Marie (Brent) Mallard, Idaho Falls, ID; Maegan Kristine (Nicole) Kiesel, Kearns; and Marcia Dawn Kiesel, Ephraim; and grandchildren; Alex, Austin, Orianna, Stacy, Ayden and Keygan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Freddie and Nila Durfee Kiesel.
