Francie Lorraine Sorensen Mickelson, age 60, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 25, 2024 in Provo, Utah. Francie was born June 30, 1964 to Marlin and Lorraine Miller Sorensen. She graduated high school and went to Sevier Valley Tech for Cosmetology.

Francie married Gregory R. Mickelson in 1989 and divorced September of 2005. She had four children and was blessed with two more whom she raised for her sister who proceeds her in death. 

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Francie loved the Church and her calling in the library. She loved the temple. 

Francie worked as a childcare provider for 28 years. She retired in October of 2020. She loved the little children whom she cared for and loved watching them grow. 

Those that knew her loved her. She helped where she could and has been a listening ear to those who needed a sounding board. She was a great mother, sister, daughter and friend. She had 6 children and 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

Survived by her children: Gregory G Mickelson, Zachary R. (Joliene) Mickelson, Jessica M Mickelson (Scooter Harrison), Cassidee Mickelson, Austin Sorensen, Baylee Sorensen; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Toni Johnson, Russell Sorensen, Kristine (Bob) Giese, Raquel Sorensen, Bruce (Sarah) Sorensen, Amanda (Thomas) Torgerson. 

Preceded in death in death by her parents; Marlin and Lorraine Sorensen; siblings: Jill Sorensen, Jacob Sorensen; brother-in-law, Raymond Johnson. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 at 12:00 Noon in the Elsinore Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Magleby Mortuary, Thursday, January 2nd from 6-7pm or Friday morning from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
