Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandma, Fern Elaine Edwards Huntsman, 74, was called home to her Heavenly Father on September 28, 2015, in Gunnison, UT. She was born June 12, 1941 in Clawson, Utah to Archie Leo and Julia Emeline Jensen Edwards. She married Franz L Huntsman June 9, 1962 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death, December 24, 2008.
Fern had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She endured many trials and health challenges and was a good example of enduring to the end. Fern loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She loved scrap booking, sewing and most crafts.
She is survived by her children: Heidi (Valon,Sr - deceased) Ericksen, Manti, UT; Kevin (Robin) Huntsman, Ivins, UT; and Vickie (Melvin) Kasalek, Taylorsville, UT. Fern is also survived by 8 grandchildren and brothers: Dale, Rex and Marvin Edwards.
Also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Huntsman; sons-in-law, Ricky Rawson and Valon Ericksen Sr; brothers, Ross Edwards and Darwin Edwards.
Graveside services and Interment will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Manti City Cemetery.
