Fenton John “Butch” DeMill, age 76, of Manti, passed away April 14, 2022 peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. Born October 6, 1945 in Manti to Fenton and Melba Metcalf DeMill.  Married Connie Jones on June 13, 1964 in Manti.

Butch was lifelong native of Manti, he attended local schools, graduated from Manti High School class of 1963. He worked in local manufacturing plants.  Later he worked as a contractor building and remodeling numerous homes.

Butch loved the outdoors and spending time with his family; fishing, hunting, camping and waterskiing.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, of 58 years; sons: Blake (Sonia) DeMill and Duane (Nadean) DeMill, all of Manti; sister, Connie D. Stocking, Idaho; grandchildren: Amber (Jared) Hatch, Jessica (Dave) Shephard, Jackie (Bryan) Sanders, Ned (Taylor) DeMill, Melissa Mason, Kellie (Brian) Hudson, Adam DeMill; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by parents; sister, Karen (Glade) Quilter; grandson, Trent Monroe DeMill; brother-in-law: Elmo Stocking; nephew, Clint Quilter.
