Fay Smith Adams, 87, passed away September 27, 2012 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. She was born January 26, 1925 in Salt Lake City to James Warden and Sarah Alta Ballard Smith and raised in Cowley, Wyoming. She married William Eddie Adams on August 13, 1945, then sealed to her husband and children on June 17, 1959. She was a long time resident of Monroe and Richfield, Utah. Eddie and Fay served a 2-year LDS mission in Nauvoo and 10 years as Manti Utah Temple ordinance workers.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her sons, David and Neal Adams. She leaves behind her married daughters, Judy (Alma) Jones, Janene (Graydon) Gaines and Merlene (E. Dean) Conway; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Myong Adams.
Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
