Evelyn Kaye Blackwell Siler, 70, passed away July 2, 2017 in Richfield. She was born March 24, 1947 in Oakland, California to Henry Morgan "Dick" and Mary Irene Smith Blackwell. She married Richard Dale Evans, they later divorced. She married Calvin Siler, September 9, 2000. He preceded her in death, October 7, 2004.
Kaye graduated from Piute High School and attended LDS Business College. She was always busy, while she owned and operated Kaye’s Café in Circleville for several years, she had a second job driving the bank work to Cedar City for State Bank of Southern Utah. She was known for her cheese burgers and fed every kid in Circleville. After Calvin passed away, she returned to work part time with Dalton Brothers Trucking.
She is survived by her best friend: Georgia---her dog; children: Shawn Richard Evans, Salt Lake City; Shannon Kaye (Aaron) Clough, Erda; step-children: Robert (Suzy) Siler, Payson; Lisa Bloodworth, Summerville, SC; 4 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; siblings: Glenda Reitz and Rick (Mollie) Blackwell, both of Circleville; brother-in-law, Bert Christensen, St. George; former daughter-in-law: Karen (Allen) Hurst.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pat Christensen; brother-in-law, Larry Reitz; nephew, Brayden Blackwell
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
