Eric Anderson “Pops”
Salina, Utah

Eric Brice Anderson, 72, of Salina, passed away May 11, 2023, in Richfield. He was born January 8, 1951, in Salina to Brice Oscar and Lenna Valerio Anderson (later Hansen).  He married Susan Strobel in 1973 in Las Vegas, NV.
Eric is survived by his wife Suzie: children: Denise (Scott) Morris, Sacramento, CA; Stephane (David) Banda, Sacramento, CA; Scott Armstrong, Salina; Jason (Adrianna Harkins) Anderson, Sandy; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; siblings: Susan (Laura Huff) Anderson, Kelvin (Pam) Anderson, Phyllis (Rick) Sharples, John (Tammy) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Janet Anderson, Chris (Kay) Anderson, and Becky (Mitch) Tillson.
Eric served as an Army Medic in the Vietnam War. Upon his return he worked for the SantaFe Railroad out of Needles, CA. He loved the outdoors.  For years after his return to Salina he was able to realize his dream to work as a cowboy and ride the ranges and mountains of the area he loved. As his health failed his family and home brought him great solace. We will miss his wit and stories – many of which were true, but all were interesting.
We want to thank the care givers he has had through the Veteran’s Administration and other institutions where he received wonderful treatment.
Cremation services will be held at the Magleby Mortuary Crematory. A celebration of Eric’s life will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, commencing at 10:30 am, at the Harker Property in Accord Lake. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
