    Emma Sofia Sorensen was born on March 22, 2012, in Katy, Texas, to Jeremiah J. and Soksopha Horn Sorensen.  Emma was a competitive gymnast and also a talented swimmer and pianist.  Emma is a special daughter of our Father in Heaven who has touched many lives.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and an active member of the Katy Stake. 
    Emma Sofia Sorensen passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 10 years. 
    She is survived by her loving parents, Jeremiah and Soksopha Sorensen of Katy; brothers, Jacob, Taylor and Harper Sorensen, all of Katy; grandparents, San Yin Horn and Remona Hang of California, and Denny and Mani Sorensen of Katy; great-grandparent, Kim Han of California; her dog, Murphy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
    The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heritage Bluff Chapel in Richmond, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.  Burial will be in Manti Cemetery in Manti, Utah on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
