Elwood Bliss Bird, 92, danced his way to meet his love Barbara on January 12, 2016, when he passed away at his home in Elsinore. He was born July 26, 1923 in Salina to Brigham Abraham and Erma Rasmussen Bird. He married Barbara Jean Bridges, January 3, 1945 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death on January 18, 2013.
Elwood is survived by his son, Michael (Margaret) Bird; and daughters, Callene Michaud and Michelle (Lyle) Jensen; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Lorin Bird. Also preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel where friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery with military rites.
