Elna Terry

Elna Shepherd Terry, 90, was born January 7, 1921 in Salina, Utah to John W. and Minnie Minetta Baxter Shepherd and died in Tuscaloosa, Alabama of natural causes, July 27, 2011. She married Cecil P. Terry in Richfield, Utah, October 14, 1939, he preceded her in death November 20, 1999.
She is survived by her children, Retana (Gordon) Montgomery, Tracey (Tracy) Burr, Lynnette Peterson, Ray (Selena) Terry; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Lola Maxwell; sister-in-law, Gwen Shepherd. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, five children, Maxine Goodbeau, Louise Moustapha, Lance Terry, Johnny Terry and an infant son; siblings; Shirley, Cleo, Beth, John and Joyce.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gunnison LDS Stake Center under the direction of the Gunnison 1 st Ward.
