Efronia O. Woodbury

Efronia Ouzounian Woodbury, 87 of Monroe, passed away July 18, 2020 in Richfield after a lingering illness. She was born February 16, 1933 in Aleppo, Meydan, Syria, to Khoren Artine Ouzounian and Eliza Tabakian. She immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah on September 17, 1957. She married Norman B. Woodbury, February 16, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She supported her husband in all of his posting during his military career and Church callings. She served in many Church callings as well, including two Family History Missions in Salt Lake City and one in London, England. Most recently she and Norman served as temple ordinance workers in the Manti Utah Temple.
Surviving her is her beloved husband of Monroe; five children: Sonya (Tooter) Ogden, Richfield; John T. Woodbury, Mayfield; Roy (Kathryn) Woodbury, Bountiful; Sharlene (Aaron) Bremer, Kaysville; Paul (Lynn) Woodbury, Centerville; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; five sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe Stake Center, where friends may call from 9:00 to10:30 a.m. Online guestbook and live streaming of the services can be found at www.maglebymortuary.com under Efronia’s obituary.
