Edna Mae Roberts Tanner, 72, passed away July 4, 2012 at her home in Annabella. She was born March 2, 1940 in Annabella to Walter Lloyd and Sarah Lovell Anderson Roberts. She married Orin LaVon Tanner August 17, 1962 in Annabella. The marriage was solemnized August 3, 1974 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death February 5, 2011
Edna was a graduate of South Sevier High School, class of ‘58. She loved horses and was involved in FFA and was selected their queen. She worked for the Sevier School District as a custodian at the Ashman Elementary. Edna and LaVon enjoyed farming. She loved gardening, hunting, camping, bowling and many sports, going for nightly drives. She was an avid Jazz and BYU fan. She especially loved visiting with and enjoying all her family and friends.
Edna is survived by her children: Scott (Candace) Tanner, Richfield; Rex (Nicole) Tanner, Annabella; Debbie (Preston) Branch, Annabella; Troy (Marena) Tanner, Richfield; Tammy (Gary) Chadwick, Annabella; Mark (Rachael) Tanner, Richfield; and Lance Tanner, Annabella; 19 grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Ruby) Roberts, and Doraine Roberts, both of Annabella; Cleve (Deana) Roberts, Salt Lake City; sister, Ione Hunt, Annabella.
Also preceded in death by parents; siblings: Norma Lou (Lyle) Nebeker, Art (Sherleen) Killick Roberts; sister-in-law, Gloria Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery.
