Edith DeFede, 87, of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away May15, 2015 in Richfield, Utah. She was born October 23, 1927, in New York, New York to Sol and Goldie Glossman Natofsky. She married Alexander Fine January 30, 1948 in New York, New York. He preceded her in death July 3, 1976. She married Thomas DeFede, January 3, 1982 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He preceded her in death July 15, 1996.
Edith was active in the South Florida cancer research and post polio groups.
She is survived by her children, Helene (Alton) Talbot, Koosharem; daughter-in-law, Marie Fine, Redlands, CA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia (William) Fischer, West Palm Beach, FL; Lynn (Bob) Biddlecomb, Princton, NJ.
Preceded in death by parents, husbands, Alexander Fine and Thomas DeFede; sons, Stephen Fine and Jay Fine; sister, Pauline (Jessie) Kalick.
