Dustin Ray Barney, 33, passed away August 19, 2018 in Florence, OR. He was born March 20, 1985 in Simi Valley, CA to Gerald Ray Payne and Leslie Dawn Barney Stok.

Dustin grew up and attended local schools in Simi Valley, the San Ferando Valley, Sacramento, and then on to Florence, OR. When his grandparents retired in Monroe, Utah, he joined them. While living here, working for Home Depot, he met Kathryn Niel. They have two children together, Maelyn and Kalvin. They made their home in Elsinore before moving back to Oregon to be close to his mother and step-father.

Survived by his children and their mother of Florence, OR; father, Gerald Payne, Sacramento, CA; mother, Leslie (Edward) Stok, Florence, OR; grandparents: Renton and Zan Barney, Monroe; Gerald Payne, TX.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
