Douglas Reynolds Larsen, 78, of Manti, passed away on June 15, 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT. Doug was rejoined with his wife of 53 years, Lynne. Doug was born and raised on the family farm in Manti, UT to Lester A and Clara Reynolds Larsen. After attending Snow College and serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he married his soul mate, LaRosa Lynne Nielson. He graduated from BYU and continued working for the Boy Scouts of America for 40 years, serving as an executive for both Twin Harbors and Far East Councils. Doug and Lynne returned home to Manti to fulfill his dream of building his own home. Doug and Lynne cherished their time exploring and camping with their loved ones. They will be missed eternally but never escape our memory.

Doug is survived by his children: Debra Larsen and Douglas (Sandy) Larsen; grandchildren, D. Zack, Kendra and Aaron Larsen; and sister, Lynd Draper. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lynne; sisters, Lois Larsen and Virginia Gillespie.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Manti 8 th Ward Chapel, 300 South Main, Manti. Friends may call prior to services at the church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Gunnison City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
