Dorthy McIff Dawson, 76, of Overton, NV and Sterling, UT, passed away on May 29, 2016 in Gunnison, UT. She was born on November 5, 1939 in Sterling, UT to Rex Hatch and Dona Dennison McIff.
Dorthy married the love of her life, George H. Dawson, on July 30, 1970 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they have 5 children: Vickie (Louie) Munoz; Dawson Lynn, deceased; Kristi (Junior) Medeiros; Sherry (John) Bell and Georgette (Lanny) Carter, 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Paul (Charlotte) McIff; Roger (Loraine) McIff and LaDonna McIff. She is preceded in death by her parents, son and brother, Gary McIff.
Her life was dedicated to her devoted sweetheart, their children and grandchildren.
With her "Always Positive" attitude she turned thunderstorms into sunshine! She loved her line dancing and all her friends associated with it, along with her BINGO!
