Dorothy J. Mecham Keisel, 65, of Ephraim, passed away on October 18, 2012. Dorothy was born on December 16, 1946 to Frank Mecham and Elsie Ogren.
Dorothy married Jack D. Keisel in July of 1988 in Hobble Creek Canyon. They have had many wonderful years together. Dorothy loved people and greeted them with a smile. She loved crafting and enjoyed giving them away. Dorothy’s most precious joys in life were her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her husband; Jack, Ephraim; Children: Douglas Wesley Jackman, Provo; Cindy Jean Jackman, Provo; Randy Wells Jackman, deceased; Lesley Delane Jackman, Phoenix; Tina (Ricky) Covington, American Fork; Stephanie (Eric) Loader, Payson; Toby Dwain (Amanda) Keisel, American Fork; and William George Keisel, Provo. Dorothy is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and her siblings; JF (Roselia) Mecham, Whitehall, MT; JC (Pat) Mecham, Vernal; Joann (Bill) Jeffs, Payson; Janet Mecham, Mona and Judy Mecham, Las Vegas, NV. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and one son.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Ephraim Stake Center, 400 East Center St. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and also prior to services at the church starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
