Donald Dale Mitchell, 70, of Monroe, passed away May 16, 2012 in Provo, Utah. He was born October 6, 1941 in Torrance, CA to Hugh Floyd and Alice Genevieve Doramus Mitchell. He married Lynda Irene Bishop, she preceded him in death.
Don worked as a plumber for 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go archery hunting with family and friends - he was a great shot.
Don was the favorite uncle of all his nieces and nephews, and he relished spoiling them all. He was the best father and friend you could ever ask for.
He is survived by sons, Jeff and wife Cindy Mitchell of Carson, CA, Mark and wife Shelley Mitchell of Mint Hill, NC; grandchildren, Kristy Mitchell and Daniel Mitchell; siblings, Bob Mitchell, Joyce Barber. He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; siblings, George, Shirley, Barbara, Carol, and an infant twin brother.
At his request, cremation services have taken place. Memorial services will be announced at a later time
