Our beloved father and grandfather was reunited with his lifelong friend and sweetheart, Carol Cooper on the morning of March 3, 2017 in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments before returning back to his Heavenly Father. He was born March 21, 1931 in Seattle, Washington, to Clarence and Mildred Sorensen Bunker. He married his sweetheart Carol on January 16, 1954 in Long Beach, California. Their marriage was solemnized on January 20, 1979 in the St. George Temple. She preceded him in death October 20, 1998.

Dad was proud to have been able to serve his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Dad loved to spend time outdoors in Panguitch, which he viewed as Camelot in life. He enjoyed spending time fishing, camping and especially time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his 4 children: Donald C. (Dorothy) Bunker, Las Vegas, NV; Dorene Bunker, Provo; David G. Bunker, Salt Lake City; and Ann (Bart) Johnston Spanish Fork; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Colton Johnston; sister: Delores Sweeten

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Panguitch 3rd Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West, where friends may call from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch City Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard and the Panguitch American Legion Post #25.
