Dixie Julia Wright

Dixie Julia Wright, of Ephraim, UT, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Dixie was born on March 13, 1948 in Ephraim, UT to Paul Sivern and Tessie Almira Anderson Wright.

Dixie was hard working, feisty, extremely generous, and big hearted. She was a Scrabble master, board game enthusiast, amazing quilter, avid scrapbooker, loving mother and beloved grandmother. Dixie was always laughing with her signature laugh. She was proud of and adored her family. She was beloved by her entire family and will be greatly missed. She was a woman of faith and loved the Lord dearly.

She is survived by her children: Laura Harbrecht and her husband Loren, WVC, UT; Jay Howard and his son, Dakota, SLC, UT; Jim Howard and his wife Angela and their children, Isaiah and Katy, SLC, UT; Paul Howard and his wife Christi and their children, Alexcis, Tyler, Ashley, and Addison, West Jordan, UT; siblings: Carol (Larry) Jensen, Richard (Linda) Wright, Norma (Tom) Crisp, Dorothy Walters, Barbara (Donald) Shomaker, Linda Hull, Kathi (Dave) Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Joye Howard, and brother, Paul Dee Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ephraim Church of the Bible, 380 South 400 East, Ephraim. Viewing will be held prior to services at the church from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
