Dianne Young

Dianne Forbush Young, 72, passed away January 30, 2012 in Salt Lake City. She passed peacefully with her family by her side. She was born February 5, 1939 in Monroe, Utah to Ray and Ruth Jepson Forbush. She married Albert James Young, he preceded her in death in 1999 after 43 years of marriage.

Dianne and Jim raised their family mainly in Colorado and southern California. Their kids were involved in all kinds of sports with Jim as their coach and Dianne as their "head cheerleader", she was also the second mom to the rest of the teammates. There were always treats at home after the game with everyone welcome.

She loved to meet people and make new friends. Dianne was the life of the party where she had a special way with stories, jokes and rhymes - she loved to keep everyone laughing. She was an avid supporter of the "Old Time Fiddlers" and enjoyed going to the Cowboy Corral to listen to them and dance.

She is survived by her children, James D. (Michelle) Young of Salt Lake City, Terry D. Young and Tammy M. Young Clegg, both of California and Steve Young of Richfield; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Su) Forbush of Torrance, CA, Richard (Inita) Forbush of Port Angeles, WA, Connie F. (Tim) Christensen of Richfield.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 16 th LDS Ward Chapel, 805 North 500 East in Richfield.
