Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend died on Monday, August 1, 2011. Mom was born on November 22, 1939 to Otis and Elaine Larsen. She graduated from North Sevier High School in 1958. She married Lyle Tod Oldroyd on December 21, 1957. The marriage was solemnized December 28, 2000. Lyle preceded her in death.
They were blessed with four children; Julie (Tom) Cook, Tamera (John) Caovette, Tod (K-Linn) Oldroyd and Lorie who died as an infant. Six grandchildren and two great grand children. They lived a short time in California after which they moved to their home in Taylorsville in which she lived for 43 years.
Diane was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
Diane worked for a short time at the Community College which she loved. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
Also survived by brother Terril and sister Jean Peterson. Also preceded in death by parents, brother, Larry.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Taylorsville 8th Ward, 1495 W. Tamarack (4630 S.) Graveside services and interment will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
