Our loving mother and grandmother, Vaughna Diane Nay, 51, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2014 in Richfield. She was born June 28, 1963 in the Hemet Valley, California to Jerry Jay and Sarah Arlene Martin Nay.
Diane was always upbeat and happy. Everyone loved her laugh and smile. Her family was most important to her, especially her wonderful grandchildren. She touched many people’s lives with her kindness and big heart. The kind of person you could never leave without giving her a hug and a kiss.
Diane loved to fish, camp and ride motorcycles and was an excellent cook. She was a complete nut, in all the best ways!
Diane is survived by her children: Mike (Kelly) Waters, Preston, ID; Juanita (Joe) Winmill, Blackfoot, ID; Michelle Mann, Blackfoot, ID; Jennifer Waters, Wapello, ID; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Sarah Nay, Richfield; siblings: Shane Nay, Richfield; Shawn Nay, MT; Wilda (Foster) Moosman, Joseph; Janell Nay, Provo; Jerry Nay, CT; and Doug Nay, Utah.
Preceded in death by her father and brother, David Nay.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield 1 st Ward Chapel where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be the Grove Cemetery in Blackfoot, ID on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the cemetery after 12:00 Noon.
