Dennis Miller

Redmond, Utah

Dennis James Miller, 75, passed away February 22, 2017 in Richfield. He was born May 22, 1941 in Olympia, Washington to Phil and Jane Anderson Miller. He married Joyce Jessop on November 24, 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dennis was an avid Angler in Alaska and was always planning his next trip. He felt most at home behind the wheel of his semi, and when he could no longer do that you could find him in his PT cruiser. He was also quite the story teller. He loved deeply and would do anything for the people he loved. He was a joke teller, prankster, and always had a deal to make. He was never a stranger to anyone, could make a friend out of anyone, and would talk to everyone for hours. If you were looking for him you could find him playing Texas Hold’em, where he was always the winner!

His granddaughters meant the world to him, they sure felt the sun, moon, and stars rose and set with him. He was very proud of all their accomplishments as he was with all of his children and grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife; children: Kimberly (Danni) Altenburg,Callie (Kurt) Losee, Dana (Ray) Black, Angela (Gordon) Beh, Natalie (Russel) Meredith, John Kunz, Jim Kunz, Joseph (Joyce) Kunz, Jeffery (Laura) Hausauer, Lisa (Mike) Nagy; 45 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; siblings: Karen (Brian) Langton, Gary Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Miller; and an infant brother, Larry Miller.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Redmond Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
