Dell Roy Davis

Dell Roy Davis, 68, passed away April 22, 2011 at his home in Escalante. He was born April 12, 1943 in Latuda, (Carbon County) Utah, to Clarence LaVerl & Dorothy Smith Davis. He married Mable Jean "Jeannie" Norton July 18, 1975 in Cedar City.
Dell worked with wood where he did beautiful scroll work. He was a hard worker, able to do many different types of work. He will be remembered most for how well he took care of his family.
He survived by his wife Jeannie, of Escalante: children Roy Lee (Cindy) Davis, Douglas John (Loraine) Davis, Laura Jean (Ted) Engberg, and William Verl Davis, all of Escalante; Terry Lynn (Tamatha) Davis, Gunnison; six grandchildren; siblings, Lora Dawn (Gerald) Stock, Cannonville; Clarence Albert Davis, Cedar City.
Preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Clarence Roy Davis.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Escalante 2 nd Ward, 80 South Center where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
