    Our dear mother, Dawn Marie Caldwell Nichols, 64, of Manti, passed away October 11, 2023 in Provo.  She was born August 22, 1959 in Murray to Richard Lee and Laurel Claira Pingree Caldwell.  She married Jay C. Nichols on August 23, 1977 in Sunset Beach, CA. The marriage was solemnized in 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple.  He preceded her in death June 6, 2020.
    Dawn Marie was the sweetest woman ever. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always helped those who were in need. She was a bright example of all we are taught to be in Church as a Christian woman. 
    She worked a number of years at the co-op in Ephraim, where she was on the board as well as one of the crafters. A skilled jewelry maker who enjoyed spending as much time teaching others how to make jewelry.  She was well sought after for her hand-made jewelry.    
    Dawn Marie is survived by her children: Forest Lee (Shannon) Nichols, Manti; Tammy Geneve (William) Christensen, West Jordan; Joseph Clifford (Michelle) Nichols, Lehi; ChelseyAnn Ivy (David) DuLong, Gulfport, MS; Melissa Herring, TX; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Twyla Rochelle (Robert) Valenzuela, West Valley; Wendie Lee (Taft) Beio, Centerfield; Ardis Jennetta Caldwell, Kearns.
    Also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Benjamin Christensen.
