David K. Willden
1951 - 2018
Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend David Keith Willden, 66, passed away at his home in Salina on March 27, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. David was born October 15, 1951 in Salina to Keith Louis and Melba Ilene Jensen. He married DeeAnna Lee Mason November 11, 1972 in Redmond. He graduated from North Sevier High School and attended Salt Lake Trade Tech.
Dave worked for the Department of Transportation for 37 years. He was very active in the community serving with Hunter Safety for 27 years, North Sevier Gun Club, Sevier County Search and Rescue and received SAR member of the year in 2015. He was also involved with Salina City and other volunteer activities. He enjoyed reloading bullets, cutting and hauling wood and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, DeeAnna, Salina; children: Heather Willden, Eagle Mountain; Jeff (Ashley) Willden, Salina; Valerie Willden, Salina; JoAnna (Ronald) White, Roosevelt; 3 grandchildren: Brayden White, Brooke Willden, Bree Willden; siblings: Belinda Gibb, Aurora; Julia "Cootsie" (Ellis) Quarnberg, Aurora; Russell Willden, Salina. He is preceded in death by: his parents; a niece Tammy; and many other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Salina LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at the church in Salina on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 or again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery.
