David Alvin Rave, 83, passed away December 19, 2020 in Richfield. He was born December 29, 1936 in Ringsted, Iowa to Arthur Alvin and Velma Floy Stansberry Rave. He married Connie Jean Buchanan on September 5, 1969 in the Manti Temple.

Dave served in the California National Guard. He had two masters degrees: one in Social Work from Smith College School For Social Work and one in Library Science from BYU.

Dave enjoyed working on family history, reading and collecting model trains. He loved his dogs.

Survived by his wife, Connie, Venice; son, Randy William Rave, Richfield.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Frank Harlan Rave, and David’s twin, Donald Arthur (Marie) Rave.

Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Venice Cemetery with military honors by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and Utah Honor Guard.
