David L. Jensen Richfield, Utah In the early morning hours of November 21, 2016, David Leon Jensen, 54 passed away in Richfield. He was born September 20, 1962 in Richfield to Delbert Scott and Clara Anderson Jensen. He attended school in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School and Sevier Valley Tech.
David grew up in the construction business and developed a love and great talent for his career in that field. He was so proud to work with his father Delbert and Uncle Arnel and then later with his brother, Mark and nephews at A & D Jensen Contractors. Next to the completion of their addition to his home, David was extremely proud of his work for Richfield City and the local canal companies.
He loved woodworking and was always “open minded” to Angie’s Pinterest (eternal) projects for the house.
David married Kae Jamison in 1988, they later divorced. That union blessed Dave with a beautiful daughter, Savanna Marie (Douglas) Althof and Kae’s children, Anthony, Jeremy (deceased), Chanelle and Liz. He married the love of his life, Angela Beckstead on December 3, 2005 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. To this union another daughter came into David’s life, Hadley Blu Sorensen. They were all sealed as an eternal family in the Manti Temple, February 3, 2012. David’s testimony of the Gospel was as big as his heart.
David is also survived by his mother, Clara; siblings: Scott Jensen, Evon (Mike) Fielden, Dale (Barbara) Jensen, Denise (Cory) Adams, Mark (Nancy) Jensen. He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert; sister-in-law: Norma; step-son: Jeremy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 10th LDS Ward Chapel, 700 West 200 South. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or at the ward chapel on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
