David H. “Dave” Boyce, 65, passed away at his home in Salina on December 6, 2017. He was born February 27, 1952 in Salt Lake City to William Harold and Elaine Tullis Boyce.
He married Cari Coleman, they later divorced. Dave is survived by his children, Cody (Amy) Boyce of St. George, Aimee (Cody) Elliott of Sandy; grandchildren, Riley, Ethan, Ryker and Keagan; siblings: Paul Boyce (Izzy), Cheryl Brimhall (Larry). He is preceded in death by his father, William H. Boyce, mother, Elaine Tullis Boyce, and step-mother Jean H. Boyce.
Dave was an avid outdoorsman who lived to hunt, fish, camp, ride his side-by-side. He looked forward to elk and deer season every year. He loved fishing at Rex’s Reservoir. He liked jumping into his “outfit” and just drive and explore. Dave had a passion for shooting and reloading bullets, which he loved sharing with his son and grandsons.
Our dad enjoyed talking to people and getting to know those around him. He was an enthusiastic story teller and had a joke for anyone willing to listen. Dave genuinely cared for those around him and always looked forward to seeing friends and family. He was a generous and kind man. Dad loved his children and grandchildren and bragged about them often.
His cooking, generosity, wit and big heartedness will be missed by everyone. We love you dad, and will miss you always.
