Dave Dimick

Dave Dimick passed away from heart failure in Gunnison, Utah on July 31, 2014. He was born March 20, 1937 in Lake Shore, Utah to Elwood and Edna Betts Dimick.
Dave joined the Navy in 1954 before the Korean Conflict was over. From 1958 to 1960 he served a mission for the LDS Church in Western Canada . Following his mission he again joined the Navy for another four years during the Viet Nam Conflict.
Dave married the love of his life, Judith Pennock, in 1966 in Oakland, California. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1967.
Dave is a jack-of-all-trades. He has done everything from managing a lumber store and building houses to selling them. He was a talented carpenter. He sold furniture, was a line man and volunteered at the ReStore. He loved working at the recommend desk in the Manti Temple. Dave loved fishing, hiking and walking his dog.
Dave is a caring, generous person and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, his sister Helen Quigley, and many extended family members whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Earl and Frank.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manti Stake Center, 555, East Union Street, where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
