Darwin Lee Edwards

January 7, 1949 — November 18, 2012

Darwin Lee Edwards, 63, of Manti, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was with his brothers Marvin and Rex at the time of his passing. Darwin was born January 7, 1949 to Archie and Emma Edwards in Clawson, UT.

Darwin attended school in Manti and later went to Ephraim Jr. High where he made it through the 7 th grade. He couldn’t finish school because of health conditions, but did take a training through a correspondence coarse and received a degree in watch making and repair. Darwin had an interest in planting trees and shrubs and had a special hobby of raising and cross breeding chickens. He loved everything to do with nature . Darwin never married and had no family of his own. He was a true Christian and received his endowments in the Manti Temple along with his twin brother, Marvin. He had a lot of struggles in his life with his health, but never complained about it. Darwin loved his immediate and extended family very much.

Darwin is survived by his brothers; Dale (Beulah) Edwards, Rex Edwards, Marvin Edwards and sister, Fern Huntsman. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nan Edwards, wife of the late Ross Edwards. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ross, brother-in-law, Franz Huntsman, nephew Craig Dale Edwards and a niece, Tammy Fern Huntsman. Darwin will be missed very much. We all love him.
