Dannie Parley Pratt, 61, of Escalante, passed away January 1, 2016 in Panguitch. He was born July 31, 1954 in Panguitch to Parley and Emma Leda Sudweeks Pratt. He married Peggy Duke December 22, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple, November 29, 1986.
He is survived by his wife; Peggy; son, Jason P (Leann) Pratt, Cedar City; step-children: Shon Leavitt, Panguitch; Lennie (Lilly) Leavitt, Escalante and Trina Leavitt, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings: Dueane (Sharon) Dutton, Escalante; Lorene (John) Carringan, West Valley; father, Parley Pratt, Panguitch.
Preceded in death by mother and sister, Jackie Withers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Escalante Stake Center, 80 South Center. At Dannie’s request, there will be no public viewing. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
