Our son, Danny, 29, who loved life so much, was taken home to be with his grandparents, Dale and Geraldine Jenkins and David Hamblen, February 4, 2012. He had the ability to light up the room as soon as he walked into it. How we will miss our bright shining star in our lives and homes.
Danny is the beloved son of Dwight and Julie Hamblen Jenkins, born to them August 23, 1982 in LaMesa, California. He married Heidi Beck resulting in two beautiful children: daughter Harley Jane and son, Dartin Dale - both the loves of his life.
Danny was an avid outdoors man, spending much time hiking, fishing and boating. In repairing and restoring vehicles he had a special gift and enjoyed his work. He also worked in construction and in the family dairy. He was a quick study and hard worker at everything he did. His greatest joy, however, was his family. Seeing his children always brought a huge smile to his face as he scooped them into his arms.
Danny is survived by his parents, of Monroe; children: Harley and Dartin; two sweet sisters, Jenneka (Chris) Christensen and Chelsey (Marcus) Smith; and his special brother, Dustin Jenkins; nieces: Ashley and Madison; nephews, Daison, Weston, Tyler, Andrew and Karson; his dear grandmother, Lovena Hamblen; along with many aunts & uncles.
